Mammoth Motocross, from June 21–30, 2024, is the ultimate summer spectator sport, brimming with energy and adrenaline. This event spans 7 days of exhilarating competitions that you won’t want to miss. Riders from six qualifying locations across California on the Road to Mammoth race circuit are primed and ready to compete for the prestigious Mammoth bear trophy.
Since 1968, racers have gathered in Mammoth Lakes each summer for this iconic event—the longest-running motocross event in the USA. While the track has evolved over the years, the excitement remains unchanged. Many riders have sharpened their skills and built their reputations on this track.
Legends like Ricky Carmichael, Jeremy McGrath, Rick Johnson, Johnny O’Mara, Broc Glover, Donny Schmitt, Steve Lamson, Gary Jones, Kevin Windham, David Bailey, Jeff Ward, Ron Lechien, Bob Hannah, James Stewart, Mike Bell, Donny Hansen, Ryan Dungey, Ryan Villopoto, Eli Tomac, and many more have competed at Mammoth.
