Once again, the Splashdown Pond Skimming Championships return to Steamboat on Sunday, April 14! Marking the end of another incredible season, this event promises unforgettable antics that defy belief. Watch as brave (and perhaps slightly crazy) skiers and riders don costumes and dare to cross the icy pond, hoping for a successful—and stylish—outcome if luck is on their side!
The online pond skim registration is currently full, but if you’d like to join the waitlist – simply stop by the Steamboat Tent on Sunday April 14th between 9:30am and 11:30am to sign up. The waitlist is a first come first serve basis. Whether you’re going to participate or simply observe, it’s going to be a wild and fun time!
