The Tour de Steamboat is an annual cycling event that unites 1,000 cyclists for a one-day ride through the stunning landscapes of Northwest Colorado. There are three different road ride routes—26, 46, and 66 miles—as well as two gravel routes, a 100-mile and a 50-mile option. With a variety of routes, there’s something for riders of all ages and abilities. As a non-competitive event, participants are encouraged to ride at their own pace and take in the majestic scenery. There will be provided excellent aid stations, support, and a post-ride barbecue and craft beer garden.
The Tour de Steamboat operates as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, dedicated entirely to raising funds for local Routt County community non-profits. These beneficiary agencies help with planning and marketing the event, implementing additional fundraising initiatives, and assisting with event operations. They are also committed to giving back to the community; each year, they select other local beneficiary organizations to receive a portion of the event proceeds.
