The Emerald Mountain Epic is a uniquely rewarding and challenging event, with 90% of the course on singletrack and major elevation gains. It provides participants the chance to compete in a variety of categories, ensuring that both seasoned athletes and enthusiastic amateurs find their perfect challenge.
Participation and Registration
To minimize the impact on the Emerald Mountain trail system, the race permits only 500 racers per day, ensuring a sustainable and enjoyable experience for all. While the total field is limited, there are no specific limits on individual categories, allowing flexibility for participants.

Royalty of the ‘Boat Races – August 3 & 4, 2024
For those who excel in both biking and running, the Royalty of the ‘Boat Races offer a unique challenge. Competitors’ combined times from each day’s races will determine the true champions of the Emerald Mountain Epic.
